Are your reps on the list?

If your congressperson is not on the list, please reach out to them and let them know that you care about Puerto Rico’s status. As an American, you don’t want to continue to hold a colony in the 21st century, and you want to see justice and equality for Puerto Rico. Your representatives need to know that you feel this way.

Research shows that as few as 30 contacts on a subject can push that subject to the top of a congressional rep’s list of priorities. They want to hear from the people who can vote for them — and that doesn’t include anyone living in Puerto Rico. So if you live in a state, please contact your legislators now.
